Hello,
my name is Stephen L. Gibson. I was honored by President Obama as a recipient of the Presidential Lifetime Achievement Award and to have also been inducted into the Who’s Who of American Educators.
As an author I have been inspired to generate products drawn from a lifetime of experiences as an educator, professor, concert pianist, athletic coach, umpire, basketball official, playwright, ordained minister, mentor and certified mediator and grief counselor.
In the process of fulfilling his purpose Stephen provides information and products that inspire individuals to intentionally operate in courage. His desire is for everyone willing to undertake the journey to discover the power within to develop their purpose so that they are positioned for a harvest of excellence and success.
As a result of my mentorship with Les Brown, the first book I authored was Achieving Your Dreams By Understanding Life’s Lessons. It was during that time that he became aware of a passion to inspire individuals to find their best selves as they systematically advance their visions and life purpose in service to make the world a better place.
This children’s book tells a heartwarming story with intriguing and passionate pictures that will inspire readers to activate their courage and strength to discover and experience unlimited joy. Those who read this book will be positioned like Stevie to learn that when they encounter challenging situations, help and hope are on the way and they will be encouraged to keep striving to reach their goal as well.
This book about discovering joy-filled freedom was over 60 years in the making. The narrative’s transparent honesty reveals how a systematic courageous approach can transform traumatically produced heartbreak into the realm of blissful hope through the release of emotional emancipation.

Mr. Stephen Gibson was invited to conducted a one day leadership building seminar for the New Frederick Douglass Memorial Bridge project. Mr. Gibson’s engagement with our students was nothing short of transformative for our students, who come from underserved and underprivileged communities, including those with very challenging backgrounds and returning citizens.
